Increase your winter
activity by joining fellow residents,
family and friends for two great sports at
the Community Center. For ages 13 and
above, Open Volleyball runs from 8-10 p.m.
each Tuesday and from 12-2 p.m. each
Sunday, while Open Basketball runs from
8-10 p.m. each Thursday and from 2-4 p.m.
each Sunday. Beat the cold by coming
inside for these activities!
REGISTER DURING DECEMBER FOR 2010 PAVILION
LOTTERY
The Recreation Board of
the Village of Valley View will continue
with the
Pavilion Lottery system
which has been used since the 2003 season.
This system has reduced such problems as
double-booking of pavilions; booking a
pavilion and not canceling which prohibits
use by another resident; and, damage to
pavilions (such as nailing of decorations,
lights, weather protection, etc.).
The following
pavilion policies remain in effect for the
2010 season:
1) A $100 refundable
deposit is required to register for any
pavilion. This deposit will be forfeited
for breaking rules, damaging
pavilions/park property, late
cancellation, etc.
2) “Pavilion
Position” cards can be filled out at the
Front Desk during the month of December
2009. The lottery, which will take place
on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.,
includes all pavilions and will be
conducted to establish a “Pavilion
Position”. This position will allow one
resident per household to sign-up for a
pavilion by using their “Pavilion
Position” on Saturday, January 23, 2010.
