Volunteer Opportunities

Hey, teens!  Did you know that you can volunteer at the Community Center and earn Community Service hours toward your high school graduation requirements?  Volunteers are needed to help with various activities.  Come to the Community Center today or call Louise Cifra at 524-9365 and learn how you can volunteer.

Baton Twirling Classes
Instructor - Molly Koch

Attention all students in grades Kindergarten through 5:  come twirl with us!  No experience necessary; classes are divided by ability and age.  Learn all the "fun"damentals and some combinations - twirls, rolls, and tosses - all taught with lively music and coordinating bodywork.

Students must use regulation baton; available for purchase at first class for $20.

Spring Session 1:  January 26-March 16

Tuesdays from 4-5 PM

*We are adding an intermediate class for Session 2*

Spring Session 2 - Beginner:  April 6-May 25

Tuesdays from 4:15-5 PM

Spring Session 2 - Intermediate:  April 6-May 25

Tuesdays from 4:15-5:30 PM

Community Center Members - $20 per 8-week session

Residents - $23 per 8-week session

Cuyahoga Heights School District Residents:  $25 per 8-week session

Non-Residents - $28 per 8-week session

*Please note that pre-registration is required for each session.  Registration will not be accepted the first day of class.  You must send a permission slip to the school for your child to ride the bus to the Valley View Community Center for each session.

Attention all students in Grades 3, 4, and 5.  Come and join us in a fun and exciting way to add fitness to your lifestyle!

**Attention Parents**

A permission note must be sent to the elementary school for your child to ride the bus to the Valley View Community Center each time your child participates in the class.

Class will be held every Wednesday that Cuyahoga Heights Schools are in session between January 6-May 26; class runs from 4-5 PM and if there is no school, there is no class.

Pre-Registration is required for this class.
