Valley View "Cub's Club"

This is a new program for both parents and children.  Cub's Club is designed to provide parents/guardians with a childcare option while they work out in the Fitness Room.  Cub's Club is held primarily in the Multi-Purpose Room of the new addition, but may also utilize the gymnasium or the playground (weather permitting).  The following are additional guidelines for the Cub's Club Program:

1.  Cub's Club is NOT a drop-in program.  24-hour advanced notification is required to enroll your child(ren) in the day of your choice.  Simply call Louise Cifra at 524-9365, ext. 2237 to sign up.

2.  Cub's Club is for children ages 3-10 years old.  All children must be both potty trained and walking in order to participate.  Tennis shoes are also required.

3.  Parents/guardians must remain in the facility at all times.  This program was created to allow parents/guardians to utilize the fitness room without having to worry about supervising their children.  You will be able to view your child(ren) while you complete your workout.

4.  There is a staff to child ratio of 1:7.  If we are at our limit for the particular day you wish to participate in Cub's Club, you may be asked to reschedule your time.  We apologize for any inconvenience, however, this policy is in place for the safety of your child(ren).

5.  The Village of Valley View and the staff of the Community Center are not responsible for personal items.  We ask that your child(ren) keep his/her personal belongings at home.  However, if he/she must bring something to the Community Center, be sure that it is clearly labeled with his/her name in a conspicuous spot.  We also ask that no outside food or beverages be brought into the facility.

6.  Cub's Club is a FREE program for members of the Community Center.  This program is for members of the Community Center only, and is offered free of charge at this time.  If you enroll your child(ren) and fail to bring him/her during the scheduled time, loss of privileges may occur.

7.  An updated emergency card must be on file for your child(ren).  See Louise if you are not sure whether or not a card is on file and/or current.

8.  Upon entrance, a parent/guardian's driver's license must be left with the staff.  Your identification will be returned to you when you sign out.  The same parent/guardian who signed the child(ren) in must sign them out.
